Description

Small sounding octant in Square box. Probably used for surveying on the Mercator, according to Francois Clement.
Elliott Brothers have gone through many mergers and acquisitions before becoming part of BAE SYSTEMS. One factor that has remained constant has been the high degree of innovation in avionics and in this respect a fifteen year period from the mid 50’s was particularly notable for laying the basis of most of the future products.
