Large engraved nautical chart of the English Channel, with the coastline of northwest France from la baie de Douarnenez (Brittany) to Dunkerque (Flanders), and the coastline of England and Wales from Stroble head to Manning Tree. With scales, 3 compass roses, rhumb lines, depths and sand banks. On land, indication of boundaries, rivers and cities. Engraved in Amsterdam for P. Mortier, but for commercial reasons published under the name of Jaillot in Paris only, first in the "Atlas Nouveau" (1692) later in the "Neptune François" (1693), elephant folio size sea atlases of nautical charts by Sanson.
